Vice President Kamala Harris Hires New Senior Advisers, Including Jen Psaki’s Brother-In-Law, To Help With PR

A new Vice President Harris support team means that she still won’t do anything for the country. If she couldn’t do it before, she can’t do it now, and nobody can give her the ability to save herself from the embarrassment at the southern border or President Joe Biden’s bumbling interviews and press conferences.

With that being said, let’s look at Harris’ new team. Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s brother-in-law is her new advisor to help with the border crisis. Who knew that she needed an advisor for that. Biden seemed to think she was confident enough to handle it, but Americans had their doubts, rightfully so.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Harris hired Lorraine voles as skilled in strategic and crisis communications. Still, her Twitter seems to only throw jabs at Republicans and use Democrat talking points as retweets rather than her thoughts.

Voles tweeted, “When the President of the USA is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two-thirds of the MEMBERS PRESENT 20 Republican Senators can stay home for this impeachment vote!”

So instead of having an impeachment, she suggests that if enough people stay out of it, former President Donald Trump can be impeached unfairly. Good to know. That’s not precisely strategic communication. As the Constitution lays out, it sounds like a workaround for her to get her way rather than conduct an impeachment.

Adam Frankel, the former speechwriter for President Barack Obama, was the other choice. Frankel’s ability to write speeches may come in handy, but it’s so interesting how many family members the White House employs. Frankel Harris’ advisor is now, but his wife works for the Department of Health and Human Services, and her sister is Jen Psaki. So many connections. It’s ridiculous. There’s not much room for independent thought in the White House or federal government right now.

Harris will continue to make speeches to her detriment, but what she does with the border crisis will be what makes her or breaks her. Americans are upset about what’s happening, and people feel like they can’t do anything to stop it. This pinned-up frustration is landing on Harris. If she doesn’t act and act fast, she’ll never actually have the ability to run for President, and her political career may be over. That wouldn’t be a bad thing, but strategically she needs to make a move so that the U.S. as we know it stays secure and as safe as it can be.

The new members to her team may mean the looming presence of the 25th amendment, which would take Biden out of his position and move Harris in. She also may need assistance finding a vice president who would win her favor with Americans. Keep an eye out for these moves as we move closer to the 2022 midterm election and as Biden continues to decline even further.
